MCLEANSBORO – The McLeansboro Animal Shelter’s fundraiser at the Big Red Barn in McLeansboro Saturday went very well.

According to the shelter’s Facebook post, officials said the grand total is $28,342 and expect more pledges to come in soon.

They appreciated everyone’s help with the fundraiser including those who made monetary donations personally and donations at City Hall, sponsors who made donations, and those who sold t-shirts.
