BENTON – The City of Benton says the Benton Water Department is closed today in order to move their office to the Campbell Building.

The city has decided to move all city offices under one roof in an effort to make the current displacement from City Hall easier on residents. All city offices are located in the basement of the Campbell Building.

When you enter the Campbell Building, take the elevator (or stairs) to the basement and follow the signs.

The city does not have an exact timeframe on how long city offices will remain at the Campbell Building, but officials are confident enough to make the decision that it will be long enough that they need to all be in one spot to be more accessible to residents.

The Benton Water Department will reopen to customers Wednesday at 8 a.m. And, yes, you will again be able to pay bills in person at the new location.

The water department moved to the Benton Municipal Airport several weeks ago due to construction work forcing City Hall to close. All other city offices moved to the Campbell Building.
