MARION – The Marion Police Department released the following information on Monday, Sept. 9, 2024. 

Samuel Housley, 23, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Domestic Battery on Sept. 6, 2024, in the 1900 block of Bittle Place.

Raymond Marshall Jr., 39, of Herrin was arrested for Threatening a Public Official on Sept. 7, 2024, in the 100 block of North Madison Street.

Desiree Nelson, 21, of Harrisburg was arrested for two counts of Domestic Battery and Criminal Damage to Property on Sept. 8, 2024, in the 400 block of East DeYoung Street.

Cheston Sledd, 36, of Metropolis was arrested for Domestic Battery and Violation of Bail Bond on Sept. 8, 2024, in the 1000 block of East Jackson Street.

Michael Woods, 68, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Battery to a Police Officer on Sept. 8, 2024, in the 1000 block of East Jackson Street.

Ray Williams, Jr., 37, of Marion was arrested for Aggravated Battery on Sept. 8, 2024, in the 800 block of North Garfield Street.

Chelsea Phillips, 34, of Carbondale was arrested for Retail Theft at Lucky’s Beer Wine & Spirits on Sept. 9, 2024.
