METROPOLIS – A Metropolis woman is facing drug charges after calling Metropolis Police Saturday saying someone allegedly stole her Suboxone, a controlled substance.

Police responded to the call in the 1700 block of Filmore.

Police found during their investigation drug paraphernalia used in methamphetamine in plain sight.

Forty-year-old Ashley R. Jenkins was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine as well as Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Police say the missing drugs were not found. Their investigation continues. More arrests are anticipated.
