PADUCAH/BROOKPORT – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says daytime closures will start Monday weather permitting on the U.S. 45 Ohio River “Brookport” Bridge.

The daytime closures are necessary for a detailed inspection of the bridge structure.

The bridge will be closed to all traffic from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The inspection crew plans to return with a daytime lane restriction on the bridge the week of April 3 to April 7 so they can finish their inspection work.
